Council First Degrees

If you're busy in the evening, a new option is to join us online at kofc.org/joinus. You can also call Don Boltz at 530-647-9749 or Marty Soth at 530-647-0980.

Note: Our May meeting has been postponed 1 week due to Father Cantwell's anniversary party. We will meet on May 9th.

Pancake breakfast

Join us in Gurnell Hall on the third Sunday after morning Masses as we serve up a wholesome breakfast including pancakes, ham, sausage, eggs, fruit cocktail, coffee and orange juice. Bring a friend and enjoy this delicious breakfast with your parish community. The cost is $6 per adult and $3 per child.

Parking Lot Security at Masses May 19th

The Church has asked if the Knights can do parking lot control during the Masses this coming Sunday.  The Placerville Car Show on Main Street will run from 9:00 till 3:00 so people will be parking early.  The gates will be locked Saturday night and will be open at 7:00 on Sunday.  We will need enough Knights to watch all 5 entrances from 7:00 until all our parishioners are parked for the 12:00 Mass.   Those of you who have helped before know it's pretty laid back and with enough volunteers we have a fun time.  Please email Jim Wassner at or call (530) 391-2119 cell if you can help.

Help Our Brother's Widow

Worthy Brothers, it is with a very heavy heart that I must report that another unbelievable sadness has befallen the Baer family. Their home burned yesterday afternoon, and they have lost everything. Laura and Elise are staying with friends, however their home will need extensive repairs until they can move back in.

It goes without saying that Laura really needs our help and our prayers. We Brothers, if we can raise monetary help, as soon as possible, it would be greatly appreciated.

We can help them by donating to this Go Fund Me Page at: https://www.gofundme.com/help-for-the-baer-family
